In line with the impact of technological advancements on the communications industry, the Nigerian Communications Commission (which is the governmental agency responsible for the regulation of Value Added Services (“VAS”) providers in Nigeria) has published certain regulations containing the innovations covered under the VAS licence. In this article, our Davidson Oturu (Partner) and Kehinde Takuro (Associate) highlight these innovations and the entities required to obtain the VAS licence.
