Biography

‘Yosola is a member of the firm’s Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Tax and Dispute Resolution Practice Groups.

‘Yosola advises both local and foreign clients on Nigerian taxes including corporate income tax, personal income tax, capital gains tax, stamp duties and value added tax. She recently advised on the potential tax and exchange control implications of securities lending arrangements between a prominent Nigerian bank and its counterparties.

She regularly carries out due diligence on proposed mergers and acquisitions; and frequently advises on finance agreements and loan transactions. She also advises clients on regulatory and exchange issues.

She is currently advising a leading Nigerian Bank on the expansion of its business model and product/service offerings. She recently advised an international investment bank on the proposed novation of its finance agreements with a leading Nigerian Bank.
